Alright, so we all know that I was terrible at keeping up with a blog when I was busy attending births. I already admitted it more than once, let it go already. Geeeeeeez. Then I went and had a baby myself. For some reason, that didn't magically create extra time to sit and write. Huh.
Now, over a year later, I have running list of post ideas based on research, experience, and my general mama musings that's getting quite daunting in length. I also have a running toddler who spends his waking minutes engaging me in a game in which he tries to keep my butt from touching a seat for longer than 20 seconds. I'm losing.
Every day fills my head and heart with ideas pulling me in a million different directions, and it has paralyzed me a bit. But, I suppose it's as good a time as any to put pen to paper. Or fingers to keyboard, as it were. Maybe at some point I'll post on a schedule. But, for now, I'll tackle it like my mom always taught me:
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
Don't eat elephants, though. They are too good for this world, as evidenced by this photo from my Serengeti safari in 2013. Guys, they're hugginggggggg!
